Jason deCaires Taylor’s Silent Evolution, located within Cancun, Mexico’s Museo Subacuático de Arte (MUSA), was installed in 2009 and includes over 400 underwater figurative sculptures. After being submerged for only 3 years, marine life had already started evolving the sculpture of Veronica – corals, sponges, algae and sea urchins cover this underwater artwork.
